Carlton R. Marcyan is well known and respected attorney/CPA with lengthy and invaluable experience in litigation, negotiation and conflict resolution focusing his practice on mediation and the collaborative divorce process. His extensive background includes experience in complicated and problematic issues including valuation of assets, property distribution, alternative dispute resolution, accounting, taxation and more. Carlton’s work has earned him an esteemed reputation among the legal, financial and business communities, and as such, he frequently represents prominent, high-net-worth individuals and businesses.

He has also received certificates of Mediation Skills Training and of Professional Achievement in Family and Divorce Mediation from Dominican University and DePaul University respectively.
Carlton also served in and was honorably discharged from the United States Marine Corps.
His vast training and experience as a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst, Financial Planner and Public Accountant set him apart from others in the field and enable him to fully comprehend and advise clients throughout their financial circumstances related to divorce and business transactions.
Throughout his career, Carlton has been significantly involved in the professional and surrounding communities, previously serving as president of organizations including the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts and the Collaborative Law Institute of Illinois now Collaborative Divorce Illinois.
Over the past four decades, Carlton has received countless awards and recognitions.
